Well, Matt, you can start off by exploring the homepage. It will tell
you what you should start out with and then go to the map and see if
there are any boxes stashed in your area. Mind you, if there are not,
you can always start out by placing a few yourself.

Hi. I recently just found out about this 'letterboxing' and am interested to
find more info about it. I live in Houston, Texas and am wondering if there
is a letterboxig site near by. I have no map reading skills or any skills
what so ever but am willing to learn what ever it takes enjoy the sport. If
you could just point me in thr right direction, I would really appreciate it.
Thank you.

Matt,
Welcome aboard. I am guessing
you visited Letterboxing.org and looked at the boxes in Texas. Anything close to
you? You can always jump right into hiding your own boxes.. Visit my site
for some more info if you haven't already seen the getting started page on
letterboxing.org. Remember, If you hide them, "they" will
come...
Once you hide one you post the
clues here on the list and a webmaster will update and post them to the Texas
page...
have fun

That's very true. If you plant one within 200 miles of Austin, I'll be all
over it in no time. ;)
